Mary.;Martha Bible Study
Mary-Martha meets the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. They will be
looking at twelve "Women of the Old Testament." These women, for the most
part, were ordinary people. They would not make headlines in any other history
book but God's. That's because there are no unimportant people in God's sight.
The fact that God recorded their stories for our learning reveals what he considers
important. The author of the study material writes, "As I wrote this guide, I
learned many new things that fed my intellectual curiosity, facts about biblical
culture, geography and history. The best things I learned, however, came from the
inner lives of these women. Their choices challenged me; the lessons they
learned had ready application for my life; their faith and praise inspired my own."
